The AP0187 is a high-efficiency coil antenna in the center. Designed to operate in the citizen band (27 MHz - 11 m). Constructed in high quality stainless steel and chromed brass, the AP0187 has an international standard coaxial connector to facilitate its attachment to supports that have UHF connectors.
It has a gold-plated positive, a silicone washer to prevent moisture between the antenna and the connector, and its insulator is threaded both on the positive and on the ground housing. A product totally different from the models found on the market.
The antenna must be installed in a flat metallic area, which has a radius of at least 1/4 wave plus 5% at the desired frequency.
To obtain the best result, always use the R.O.E meter (WATTIMETER). The reflected signal cannot be greater than 1.5:1 or 4% of the forward power.
