The Ap40189 is a VHF 5/8 wave antenna with a high-efficiency base coil and a sturdy build with a built-in magnetic base. It was designed to operate on the 2 meter band (132-174 MHz). It is made of stainless steel, high-quality zamac, chrome-plated brass and UV-protected polymer, with the cable built directly into the antenna base. In addition, it has a base spring for greater impact resistance and a galvanized steel magnetic base with black epoxy paint, with magnetic pull that can hold up to 14kg, making installation easier. A UV-protected non-slip rubber completes the base assembly.
