The PX MINI 1/4 WAVE MOBILE ANTENNA – AP1000 is an antenna with a high-efficiency base coil, designed to operate on the citizens band (27 MHz – 11 Meters). Made of stainless steel and chrome-plated brass, with a nylon coil core and high-insulation enameled wire. It is also known as the "mini maria mole".
The great advantage of the PX MINI 1/4 WAVE MOBILE ANTENNA is its compact size. With this model there is no "whip effect" when braking, so it cannot damage the truck or nearby vehicles.
It follows the size and installation standard of PX antennas in the United States, the country where it all began and which has the largest number of users in the world.
In practice, even at roughly half the size of a conventional 1/4 Wave antenna, the PX MINI 1/4 WAVE MOBILE ANTENNA can achieve the same performance when properly installed!
