The AP27100 is a VHF antenna for marine use. It was designed to operate on the 2 meter band (156-162 Mhz). It is made of chrome-plated brass, high-quality zamac, stainless steel and UV-protected polymer. It also has a high-efficiency base coil, a spring to absorb impacts, a gold-plated center pin for better electrical conductivity and high-performance rubber for excellent sealing. The connection is male UHF, to connect with cables that have female UHF connectors.
