Mobile Antenna 900 MHz 2x5/8 Wave NMO Base - AP8251

The AP8251 is a mobile antenna designed to operate with high efficiency in the 900 MHz band, using a 2x5/8 wave structure with a center coil. Recommended for vehicle and professional applications that require superior radio communication performance.

Built with chrome-plated brass, stainless steel, high-quality zamac and UV-protected polymer, this antenna has high-deformation rubber resistant to ozone, weather and chemicals, making it highly durable and reliable in adverse environments.

It uses the NMO (whip) mounting standard and can be installed on vehicle roofs or flat metal surfaces with a minimum radius of 1/4 wave plus 5% of the frequency used. The spring at the base provides additional mechanical strength, extending its life even under severe use.

For best performance, we recommend using an SWR meter (wattmeter), keeping the reflected signal below 1,5:1 or 4% of forward power.
