The extender was designed for use with the 1/4 Wave antenna, for SWR tuning and to support the whip. Technical Specifications – Upper tip threaded onto the stainless steel tube so it cannot come loose; – Anti-vibration inner lining eliminates noise between the whip and the tube wall; – Lower base threaded onto the stainless steel tube so it cannot come loose; – Water drain system: no water builds up inside the tube.
