The AP10187 is an antenna with a high-efficiency center coil. Designed to operate on the citizens band (27 MHz - 11 m). Made of high-quality stainless steel and chrome-plated brass, it has an international-standard coaxial connector for easy mounting on supports with UHF connectors. It has a gold-plated center pin, a silicone washer to keep moisture out between antenna and connector, and its insulator is threaded on both the center pin and the ground housing. A product truly different from the models found on the market.
For best results, always use an SWR meter (WATTMETER). Reflected signal must not exceed 1,5:1 or 4% of forward power. The antenna must be installed on a flat metal area with a radius of at least 1/4 wave plus 5% at the desired frequency.
