The AP50189 is a VHF 5/8 Wave antenna with a high-efficiency base coil and a sturdy build. It was designed to operate on the 2 meter band (134-174 MHz). It is made of stainless steel, high-quality zamac and chrome-plated brass, with a gold-plated center pin, a silicone washer to keep moisture out between connector and antenna, and an international-standard connection for easy mounting on supports with NMO (WHIP) connectors. In addition, it has a base spring for greater impact resistance, offering a product with excellent cost-effectiveness.
